More About Word Processors

We used Word Perfect 8 for most of the project on our PC. We recently upgraded to Word Perfect 10. At that time we were considering switching to Microsoft Word, but to get Microsoft Office we would have spent $300 dollars or more. The company from which we purchase both software and hardware had received permission to sell OEM versions of software with the purchase of a hardware item. OEM is the version that usually comes already installed on your computer when you buy a new one. We needed a new hard disk drive at the time and were able to get Word Perfect 10 for only $25. Microsoft Word will do the job, but we haven’t had as much experience with it. We hear that Mac computers are very good at this kind of thing. Please let us know about your experience and expertise on our Forum page.
